Web seminars on wireless technology

Emerson Process Management has confirmed its programme of free web seminars that focus on the use of wireless technology within the chemical industry. Following the success of the opening seminar for senior plant management, Emerson has scheduled monthly seminars that will demonstrate how wireless can improve plant efficiency, increase effectiveness of operations and maintenance personnel, and even change the way you operate your plant. The next seminar „Doing More with Less with Wireless“, is on Monday 14th September and focuses on the challenge that all chemical producers face, which is to do more with less. Following a brief introduction to wireless technology, the seminar identifies areas of production, operations and maintenance, and project functions where wireless will have a significant and immediate impact on business performance.

The 45 minute web seminars use typical applications based on existing installations to demonstrate how wireless can improve plant efficiency; increase the effectiveness of operations and maintenance staff, and providing advanced warning of problems before they have an effect on the process. Tailored to the needs of plant management, projects, operation, and maintenance personnel, the seminars will be fully interactive, enabling delegates to pose questions directly to the presenters during the event. Delegates are required to register in advance at www.EmersonProcess.eu/ChemicalWebinar.
