Some 300 exhibitors from fourteen countries presented innovative technologies, products and services for better energy efficiency at the WTT Expo, AGFW Heat Technology + Enkon dezentral fairs. A total of 4,500 visitors toured the exhibits from the heating and cooling sectors from 27 to 29 April 2010 at the Karlsruhe Trade Fair Center. “During this week, Karlsruhe was the meeting point for the entire energy industry”, explains Britta Wirtz, spokesperson of the Management Board of Karlsruher Messe- und Kongress-GmbH. “The combination of three parallel trade fairs made this platform for energy efficiency possible, unrivalled in the German-speaking countries. I am pleased at its positive reception amongst visitors.”
The 3rd WTT Expo witnessed a significant increase in numbers of visitors compared to the previous event. 2,500 trade visitors travelled from ten countries to attend the trade fair for industrial heat and cooling technology. One out of five visitors originated from outside Germany, primarily from Scandinavia, countries bordering Germany and parts of Eastern Europe.
“The mood was very positive, particularly in light of the pioneering topics we presented across the entire range of heat recovery”, commented Harald Krüssmann, co-organiser of the WTT Expo along with Karlsruher Messe- und Kongress-GmbH. “After experiencing outstanding customer exposure at this year’s WTT Expo, numerous companies exhibiting for the first time spontaneously confirmed their return in 2011. The next WTT Expo will take place from 27 to 29 September 2011 at the Karlsruhe Trade Fair Center.
