After the start of the Lean Six Sigma Initiative and the formation of the Operational Excellence Division, Rottendorf Pharma can look back on a successful first year of 2010.
By the end of the year more than 60 employees had been trained in the classical Lean tools such as 5S, value stream mapping, process analysis and changeover time optimization and certified as project managers. Moreover, Six Sigma Green Belt training started for the first employees and will be completed in the very near future.
In 2011, Rottendorf will intensively continue to pursue this initiative in order to manifold the achieved savings and efficiency improvements and to thus effectively contribute to the implementation of the business strategy.
