The “2009 Green Excellence Environmental Activism Award”, conferred annually for centrifugal pumps by the global consultancy company Frost & Sullivan, was received by KSB in London. With this environmental prize, Frost & Sullivan pay tribute to research and development activities in the field of products and solutions which are innovative, reliable and energy-efficient. In addition, the prize represents an award for the brand policy of the pumps and valves manufacturer which is based on quality, reliability, excellence and a global perspective.
With its energy-saving products, the company has for years made energy efficiency a key focus. Alongside variable speed systems for pumps, energy-efficient electric motors and computer-controlled control valves, these include environmentally friendly materials developed in KSB’s own laboratories.
