No other market is developing as rapidly as the market for waste disposal and the environment – anywhere in the world. From April 25 to 29, IFAT 2005, the 14th International Trade Fair for Water, Sewage, Waste Disposal and Recycling in Munich will focus on sector-specific solutions and state-of-the-art technology for implementing practical and efficient solutions as well as a wide range of first-rate services in the water, sewage and waste-disposal sectors.
IFAT 2002 welcomes 2,042 exhibitors from 39 countries and 97,245 visitors from 121 countries. For the 2005 fair, the organizer – Munich International Trade Fairs – hopes to increase the number of international exhibitors even further and to expand the range of exhibition themes and the program of related events. For the upcoming exhibition, the attractive range of exhibits was expanded by adding new segments for noise reduction, soundproofing and air-pollution control. The categories for water supply and waste disposal are also being expanded to reflect ongoing internationalization as well as recent trends toward private service providers and the use of innovative hardware. Besides addressing German trade representatives, visitor advertising for IFAT 2005 will focus on international visitors from Europe, especially the new EU member states and countries in Central and Eastern Europe, as well as countries in the Arabic region, Asia, Africa and North and South America.
