Bartec, one of the internationally leading providers of industrial safety technology headquartered in Bad Mergentheim, has taken over Vodec Ltd., a British provider of communication and security systems. These communication solutions are used, for instance, on an oil rig or in a chemical plant in order to warn the employees on site of any possible dangers. The new business unit is an ideal complement to the Bartec product portfolio which does not only comprise explosion-proof components and system solutions but also heating technology, measurement and analysis technology as well as products used in the mining industry.
Bartec will run Vodec as a self-dependent company within the Bartec Group and the new business unit which will operate under the name of Bartec Vodec will be continuously expanded.
