Italvacuum
70 years of experience in vacuum techniques

Ever since its foundation in 1939, Ital- vacuum has manufactured industrial vacuum pumps and vacuum dryers for process use in the chemical, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries. In the 1950s Italvacuum broadened its market base by developing rotary dryers in addition to cabinet tray dryers.

The original cylindrical rotary dryers – today sold under the name Tumble Dryer for drying, mixing and condensing in the manufacture of plastic granules – were soon followed by double-cone types. The latter had such an international success that they became a real dedication in the middle of 1980s with the introduction of the patented Criox System, also capable of powdering, thanks to powerful lump-breakers inside the vessel.
By the beginning of the 1990s accelerating growth brought a need for restructuring and optimisation. The Technical Office, the Engineering Services, the Sales Office and Customer Service departments were strengthened. At the same time the Spare Parts Warehouse, with its computerised management system, was improved to ensure effective and timely delivery of original spares to anywhere in the world.
Today’s Italvacuum is a modern and consolidated company – employing 60 people in a production area of more than 5,000 m2 – able to provide turn-key installations and also to realise customised systems, that are built according to customer’s process requirements.
With an ISO 9001 quality management system and continuous quality control throughout the production cycle, all Ital-vacuum machines comply with the main international regulations (CE, Atex, PED) and the increasingly stringent FDA rules and cGMP standards.
