09.06.2015 – Eastman Chemical has put three new parts into operation at the site in Middelburg lately: a 35 m high destillation tower, a loading and unloading dock for trucks, and a storeage tank with an internal floating roof. Site manager Rien Jonker stresses the strategic importance of the location in Middelburg. „We are the only Eastman site in Europe for the production of resins. We do, of course, want to retain our leading market position. That is why we innovate and improve our processes.“
The project includes 19 Dickow pump units with motor, coupling and base plate. Amongst these is Dickows´200,000st pump, which the producer from Waldkraiburg has installed since 1948.
Eastman operates more than 100 Dickow pumps and is quite impressed by the performance, quality and lifetime of the products.
