ARI-Armaturen Group has acquired all outstanding shares of the Finnish butterfly manufacturer Högfors Oy. Högfors develops and manufactures a wide range of manual and automated butterfly valves and also provides ball valves both for a vast variety of applications in the power and process industry. Since its establishment in 1927 Högfors has become a trusted partner with a strong market position namely in the district heating industry.

Högfors will complement ARI’s wide product program of industrial valves, especially in the area of metal-seated high-performance butterfly valves. At the same time, Högfors will benefit from synergies in sales, production, sourcing and engineering.

“We are very excited about this great new opportunity to be able to expand our value preposition to our customers worldwide,” notes Mr. Dietmar Roehrmann, Head of Global Sales and Marketing of ARI. “With our strong presence in various industries around the globe we are in an excellent position to reach out to customers who are in need of high quality but yet competitive high-performance butterfly valves which complement perfectly our already existing portfolio of triple eccentric butterfly valves.”

“We strongly believe that ARI is a perfect owner for Högfors and its employees, supporting its future growth and development,” says Mr. Pekka Karhumäki, Chairman of the board at Högfors.
