The Striko SU (reverse acting) and SZ (forward acting) rup-ture disc series are predominantly designed for use with the company’s own SHU and SHZ holders but also fit into other manufacturer’s holders, such as those from Oseco. This should resolve several spare part issues. Oseco users are no longer able to obtain urgently required spare rupture discs as the British Halma Group has decided to cease sales of this brand in the European market.
The SU and SZ series enable operators to continue using existing rupture disc holders without having to worry about any reductions in system safety. This has been confirmed by the TÜV Rheinland Group. The parallel use of the new Striko holders and the existing Oseco holders could not be easier. There is no need to procure, store and manage additional rupture disc series and the number of parts can be minimised.
