Ebbecke Verfahrenstechnik developed a modular screen system, in which both screen basket and screen top were placed in a closed case. The system does not include any internal fixing devices and is equipped with a quick changer for screen surfaces. By complete abundance of internal fixing components a contamination is prevented in the first place. The quick changer provides an instant exchange of the screen surface by lifting of the screen top. Additionally, the screen is equipped with a screen cleaning mode, ensuring a complete cleaning of all components in contact with the product.
The adaption of the machine to different products is done by means of a continuously variable frequency converter drive and a swing regulation. The screen aptitude, regulating the product duration on the screen, can easily be adjusted by hand. Drive and screen unit are cased, in order to meet the high demands on security standards in any industry, but also to protect the drive from pollution, and to keep the system silent and low-vibrating. The screening process itself can be observed through housing windows. All parts being in contact with the product are made out of stainless steel 1.4541 (V2A) or 1.4571 (V4A), the other components from steel or aluminum.
