HTT is engaged in the utilisation of process heat to operate plants even more efficiently. The air preheater Apek mini utilises hot waste gases in the operating range from 300 to 1000 kW. It became commercially successful first in baking industry. In the meantime, it has also arrived in chemical industry. Apek mini provides waste heat utilisation in small-size format which optimum energy efficiency for processes and applications can be generated with. It extracts valuable energy unused up-to-now from the waste gas and utilises this energy for preheating the firing system. This reduces fuel consumption and simultaneously protects the environment. As soon as the heater has started operation, the system will always guarantee waste heat utilisation to 100 %. For existing plants an increase in efficiency of 7 % is possible, and hot water can also be generated.
