GKD has developed a belt filter for particle separation from 40 μm, which also works without added filter aids. Made entirely from stainless steel just like Maxflow, the self-cleaning filter perfectly complements the compact system in the field of coarse filtration. The stainless steel mesh used is cleaned automatically during the operating process. This is made possible thanks to a nozzle connection fitted below the belt. By doing away with high-consumption paper belts, significantly lower maintenance hours as well as considerable savings on material and disposal costs are also achieved. However, it is the tank system and scraper which are also integrated below the belt which mark the innovative stainless steel belt filter as a particularly efficient solution. The scraper carries particles <40 μm on the tank bottom away into the dirt tank section. In this way, the belt filtration is automatically optimised by the parallel separation of the finer particles.
