The Retsch cutting mill SM 300 is characterised by comfortable operation and quick and easy cleaning. The high torque of the 3 kW drive with additional flywheel mass allows for an effective preliminary size reduction of heterogeneous mixtures. Analytical fineness is often achieved in one run. The cutting mill is used successfully for a great variety of materials. The sample material is only moderately warmed up during the grinding process so that the mill is also suitable for grinding temperature-sensitive materials. Speed range is selectable from 700 to 3000 min-1. In combination with the wide selection of bottom sieves, hoppers and collecting vessels, the mill can be easily adapted to application requirements. Another benefit is the easy access to the grinding chamber for cleaning: the housing is simply folded back and the sieve and push-fit rotor are removed without tools. SM 300 is also available for heavy-metal-free grinding.
