The TK-D combined drum dryer/cooler from Allgaier Process Technology is based on the Mozer system. It enables the previously dried solids to be cooled to particularly low temperatures close to the ambient or cooling air temperature. The technology is chracterised in high energy efficiency with heat recovery.

The system can be used for processing free-flowing bulk materials as well as sticky, clumping or highly abrasive materials. The individual design enables a very wide range of applications for throughput capacities from 1 to more than 350 t/h, as well as process steps combined with drying. The cooling of the solid material
to particularly low temperatures is made possible by a single pass design with a separate dry-cooling chamber of the drum. There are no points of contact between the material cooling and the hot inner drum in the inlet area of the dryer.

By using previously cooled
air instead of ambient air,
the solids of special products can even be cooled down to temperatures of 10 °C. The dryer can also be equipped with a hot inner drum. With a two-part configuration of the central chamber, exhaust air streams from the drying zone and from the cooling zone can be extracted and dedusted indiviually.
