Waste-water pumps of the N 3000 series from ITT Flygt are known for their safety, reliability and operational economy. But these waste-water pumps are ideal for dry installations as well. The integral cooling jacket helps here, preventing the motor from overheating and, consequently, automatic shutdown. The fully encapsulated monobloc design even copes with accidents and flooding in the pump room without the pump or the motor cutting out. Furthermore, the even cooling means less heat and hence less wear on all mechanical parts.
Depending on the configuration of the N-pump, pumping capacities of up to 1000 I/s and pumping heads of up to 90 m are possible. To achieve this, the most powerful N-pumps come with a motor rating of 310 kW. An inspection chamber enables early detection of real wear and thus prevents expensive subsequent damage. If the standard sensor is connected, the service interval can be extended to two years. All N-pumps are tested and approved to national and international standards (IEC 34-1, CSA). They are also available in explosion-proof versions with Factory Mutual (FM) and Euronorm (EN) approvals.
