The Premier Pneumatics powder and pellet receiver 2410 from K-Tron is designed to handle powder, pellet, regrind or granular materials in the chemical, food and plastics industries. The modular designed receiver allows flexibility in the selection of material construction, power, filtration and receiver inlet sections. It is available in either aluminium or stainless steel construction. Components of different constructions are interchangeable allowing receivers to be specified with stainless steel material contact areas only. Central system units for the 2410 receiver utilize a common vacuum blower package, and are primarily used on multiple-destination applications where larger conveying rates or long distances are required. The receiver is available with controls suitable for use with either a solid state microprocessor controller or a programmable logic controller. Based on a distance of 15 m and bulk density of 0.5 kg/dm³ conveying rates are up to 1180 kg/h with the pellet receiver and up to 408 kg/h with the powder receiver. They vary with material characteristics, conveying distance and plant layout.
