Plunger pumps with wide power spectrum

Plunger pumps with wide power spectrum
The series of high pressure pumps from Uraca provides an ideally matched power spectrum from 35 to 2600 kW. The new pump generation has been conceived both for intermittent high pressure cleaning and for continuous use in industry. Efficiency paired with cost optimisation and low weight per unit of power has been systematically put into effect using state-of-the-art design criteria.

The result is a pump conception with 3, 4 and 5 plungers. The possible use of many non-variable parts and the compact type of construction provide the user with benefits in terms of space, maintenance and service. Optimum power grading within one pump series is achieved by only slight alternations to size. The use of several machines of different power levels from the same series holds additional benefits with regard to the storage of parts and maintenance. Further, the erection of the pumps in the series can be executed horizontally or vertically.
The power spectrum of the P4–70 4-plunger pump covers over 450 kW, that of the P5–70 5-plunger pump over 550 kW. The pressure range of each pump goes up to 2800 bar.
