With the media separated 6650 flipper valve Bürkert presents an extremely compact, fast switching valve which has been optimised especially for reproducible and precise dosing of aggressive fluids. In addition to a 2/2 way version with a nominal diameter of 0.4 mm, the valve is also available as a universal 3/2 way version with a nominal diameter of 0.8 mm. Therefore, the 6650 valve is ideal for demanding analytical applications requiring maximum fluidic capacities in a compact space.
The patented technology of the Bürkert flipper solenoid valves is based on an elastomer element which in the 3/2 way valve moves between two opposing valve seats, opening one and closing the other. The common connection can be used as an inlet for distribution to one of the two seats or as an outlet for a mixer function. The media comes into contact only with the housing, made of PEEK, and the seal elements, made of FFKM – therefore, the IP 65 valve is also suitable for dosing of aggressive fluids.
