Gemü has included the 537 manually operated globe valve in the product range. This valve type uses the same valve bodies as the Gemü 534 and 532 actuated designs. Valve bodies in nominal sizes DN 15 to DN 50 in cast stainless steel 1.4408 and SG iron GGG 40.3 are available. The maximum operating pres-sure for nominal sizes DN 15 to DN 40 is 25 bar, for DN 50 16 bar. The standard version of these valves can be used up to 180 °C and the PTFE gland packing is suitable for steam. Versions for higher temperatures and with other seals are available on request. Connections available are flanges to EN 1092/PN 16 and PN 25 form B, length EN 558, series 1. The manual valves can also later be retrofitted with the pneumatic actuators of types 534 and 532, if required. An Atex version of these valves is also available on request.
