ESK Ceramics GmbH & Co. KG in Kempten has received the gold award in the competition „Innovative Products for the Aluminum and Non-Ferrous-Metal Casting“ at Aluminium & Nonfermet 2008 in Kielce/Poland for its new EKa-mold Cast-M foundry coating. The three-strong jury was mainly looking for innovations that improve the quality of aluminum products and are also characterized by durability, ease of handling and environmental sustainability. The jury was made up of two scientific experts from the internationally renowned „AGH University of Science and Technology“ in Kielce/Poland and a representative of the Polish metal and foundry industry.
