The two Sera piston diaphragm pump series 510.1 and 511.1 are designed for dosing toxic, aggressive, abrasive and corrosive fluids. High-quality materials and the proven multi-layer diaphragm technology allow a performance range between 65 and 1900 l/h at a counterpressure up to 220 bar. The condition of the hydraulically driven PTFE-dia-phragm is indicated by an integral optical diaphragm rupture monitor as a standard. Optionally electrical monitoring for the diaphragm can also be supplied. An internal pressure limiting valve ensures permanent and reliable overpressure protection and so avoids overload situations. A variable eccentric drive realises a linear precision stroke setting which is reproducible at any time, thus ensuring a very precise flow rate. The generation 5 is available as M model (M510.1/M511.1) with fixed stroke length, or as R model (R510.1/ R511.1) with linear stroke adjustment. Optionally the pump can be equipped with an electric actuator. A wide range of accessories and optional designs, e. g. for explosion-proof areas or following API standard 674/675, allows a considerable number of applications. For larger output ranges the pumps of generation 5 can be extended to multi-headed pumps of nearly any required power.
