Vectorpipe is the complete database-supported 3-D plant design system for layout planning and piping construction, as well as output and evaluation of the 3-D plant model. It depicts equipment (building, steel structures, and equipment) and piping components as well as supports, beams and specific structural steel elements from the extensive steel libraries as per DIN and ANSI. All corresponding information for 3-D design is saved in the Oracle database as alphanumerical data. This allows real concurrent engineering, with access from different locations to one plant model at the same time.
