Atex certification for valve position indicator
Netherlocks has completed Atex and IECEx certification for the valve position indicators (VPI) of the S and A Series. The company is now allowed to manufacture and market Ex certified products with electrical components. The valve position indicators provide an overview of positions of the manual valves within a plant network. This saves time and avoids safety issues due to misalignment of manually operated valves. The Atex and IECEx certified VPI is a direct result of the growing demand for integrated solutions in valve position indicating for use in explosive areas.
