The Centrifan PE Evaporator/Concentrator provides a safe, small volume evaporator for synthetic and medicinal chemists, as well as pharmaceutical, biotech, and university researchers. The Centrifan PE dries solvents directly in the vial, increasing the evaporation efficiency in the laboratory. Proprietary self-generated blow-down technology (SBT) eliminates the potential problems with common evaporation systems such as vac-uum centrifuges, rotary evaporators, nitrogen blow-down, and freeze dryers.
In the Centrifan PE samples are dried in 20 ml scintillation or other common vials and there is no need for a vacuum pump or a large supply of blow-down gas. This protects samples from loss and captures toxic vapours and materials in a closed system.
