The robust clean-break low pres-sure couplings of the recently introduced CT series of Walther-Präzision are designed for multi-purpose use in chemical and fluid technology, hydraulics, machine and systems engineering, process engineering as well as for medical, food and pharmaceutical applications. With the nominal size 3 mm the CT series, so far available in 5, 7, 9, 12 und 19 mm, is complemented. The clean-break technology thereby enables the user to connect and disconnect the non-drip, non-squirting coupling safely and quickly. Thus, with this small nominal diameter, too, the safety for the user and the environment is optimised.
Like all members of the CT series, this small coupling has minimal pressure drop and, accordingly, high flow rates due to a flow-enhanced design. Thus, power loss caused by friction is minimised and the energy demand is reduced. The clean-break couplings of the CT series are manufactured as standard from high-quality stainless steel and come with an Atex approval.
