With FactoryTalk Pharma Suite Rockwell Automation has introduced an MES software tailored to the needs of pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturers. It comprises Track&Trace and Weigh&Dispense functionality that tracks material, equipment and personnel involved in the manufacturing process and helps customers to establish a complete and correct batch record. Operators are guided by pre-defined workflows, and the system detects and records any deviations. The software suite also includes documentation and templates based on la- test industry-standards like GAMP5, to accelerate qualification and validation at the production site. FactoryTalk Pharma Suite is based on the state-of-the-art FactoryTalk ProductionCentre platform. It can be configured as a stand-alone system, or tightly integrated with business systems like ERP or LIMS.
