The visual inspection system V2630 from Mettler-Toledo provides fully-automated controls for labels, printing and package properties. Thanks to its modular design, the V2630 can be expanded according to need and adapted flexibly to the requirements of various production lines. The V2630 supports product inspection with up to five high-performance cameras and ten lights, which can each be individually positioned.
The V2630 system’s Rapid Fit framework facilitates quick deployment onto existing production lines, eliminating the need for redesign or interruption of the existing production line layout. For use in washdown and rough environments, the inspection system’s cameras and operating terminal are available in a version with IP 65 protection. Mettler-Toledo CIVCore software is used for the analysis of visual data. In addition to inspecting text and graphic elements such as barcodes and logos, the software now also facilitates the reliable reading of dot matrix scripts and labels thanks to its new Dot Print Tool.
