The Siebler HM 1/230 vertical heat-sealing machine integrates extremely easily into the line thanks to the FlexTrans transfer stations. The servo-driven transfer principle permits quick format changes with strip packaging. The system can thus be used to pack compressed prod-ucts and capsules with decisive benefits for the contract packaging sector. Frequent product changeovers are further supported by the design of the Siebler heat-sealing technology: sealing tools with removable shells and the ergonomic batch management concept with audit trail functionality make the machine much easier to operate. The products pass through the sealing station in eight feeding channels and are processed at a rate of 450 cycles a minute. That equates to an output of 3600 four-side sealed foil packs a min-ute. The cGMP-compliant heat-sealing machine has a balcony structure and can be supplied in four different versions.
