All vertical pumps conform to German instructions for air quality control-TA-Luft including the SGD design fitted with double mechanical seal. The standard designs are suitable for temperatures up to +80 °C. Above this temperature SGT/SGDT designs are available and can operate up to +150 °C generally used in Slop tanks. There are also vertical pumps for high temperature applications: In secondary circuits molten salt is often used as the heat transfer medium for cooling or heating. This molten salt must be circulated accordingly. This circulation at temperatures of +450 °C can be achieved with a pump high temperature execution SMT. The vertical pumps are available in sizes DN 32 to DN 500 with flow rates up to 5,000 m³/h with heads ranging from 20 to 130 m.
