VariTrans A 21000 P0 from Knick is a very compact stand-ard signal transmitter with three-port isolation in a space-saving 6 mm housing. Calibrated range selection makes time-consuming parameter setting and adjusting unnecessary. The only standard signal isolator with an integrated universal power supply for international use, the device can be operated with 24…110 V(DC) supply voltages as well as 110…230 V(AC). Although the modular housing is only 6 mm wide, the VariTrans amplifier meets the high requirements regarding personnel and plant safety with protective separation according to EN 61140 with a maximum operating voltage of 300 V. The test voltage is 2.5 kV(AC). The VariTrans A 21000 P0 with protective separation and a universal power supply emits very little heat. Since the devices do not require ventilation space when rail-mounted, control cabinets can be packed very densely. The low self-heating also leads to an extremely long life span.
