With its powerful 1.86 GHz Intel Mobile processor, the Simatic Panel PC 577B from Siemens A&D provides outstanding computing power for industrial applications. The panel, which is only 14 cm deep, has a main memory of 512 MB. This can be increased to up to 4 GB. The diverse basic features of the Simatic Panel PC 577B include an 80 GB hard disk, two Ethernet interfaces, a DVD burner, one USB interface on the front and four on the back, and two PCI extension slots. The touch screen display is available in sizes 12“, 15“ and 19“. The panel PC has a high degree of protection of IP 65/NEMA4 on the front and is designed for temperatures up to 45 °C.
