The BL 550 set-point alarm relay from Knick’s Basicline programme is a versatile solution for standard signal monitoring and control. The compact device comes in a 6 mm DIN rail housing with a potentiometer on the front for free adjustment of the switching thresholds. 0…20, 4…20 mA, or 0…10 V input signal ranges, switching hysteresis, and delay are set via DIP switches. The changeover relay allows the output to be used both with load and no-load currents. All Basicline devices provide galvanic three-port isolation. The BL 550 set-point alarm relay is CE-compliant and UL-certified. Leaving all extras aside, Basicline devices have been tailored to mechanical engineering companies that need precise and reliable isolators for large-scale applications. Basicline comprises transducers for current, voltage, or temperature measurement, conversion of standard signals or measured values, signal isolation, and set-point monitoring.
