With the Piox S721 SA, Flexim will be presenting the first representative of a new generation of clamp-on ultrasonic measuring systems for the simultaneous, non-invasive measurement ofmass and volume flow, density and concentration. The measuring system was specially developed for use in the sulphuric acid and oleum manufacturing and processing industries. Depending on the concentration, the acoustic velocity of aqueous sulphuric acid solutions changes quite considerably at high concentrations. This also shows the best measuring effect. Piox S721 SA is therefore the tool of choice for non-invasive mass flow measurement and online concentration monitoring of highly concentrated sulphuric acid. The three design variants in which Piox S721 SA is offered cover a nominal diameter range from DN 25 to DN 2000.
