IO-Link is considered key technology for the implementation of Industry 4.0/IIoT concepts. For this technology Weidmüller provides IO-Link master modules in IP20 and IP67 degree of protection. Plug-in connectors and pre-assembled lines for the bus connection as well as the sensor/actuator wiring complement the product portfolio. The parametrisation and configuration of IO-Link devices can be performed with the web-based configuration tool. The configuration tool with its intuitively operable interface connects to the new, central, cross-manufacturer database for description files of IO-Link devices (IODDs). The IODD finder database unites the entire IO-Link world under one roof and enables central access to all available IO-Link devices.
