By introducing the WLAN-Bridge-Wave Weidmüller is extending its portfolio comprising the WaveLine family of products with a WLAN-Bridge for IE networks. Weidmüller developed the WaveLine Bridge module so that serial terminal devices can be integrated in existing IE network structures. WaveLine now also allows users to utilise WLAN to connect or extend their industrial network. The WLAN-Bridge is designed to be robust. Their compact design size for mounting rail solutions is a compelling feature. Supporting wireless LAN (IEEE 802.11 b, 802.11 g) the module IE-WLAN-Bridge-Wave comes with a non-isolated RS 232 interface. For user-friendly operation the module can be configured via the serial interface or a web interface.
