With EVA compact evaporation technology GEA Wiegand offers a range of plants for capacities of 0.1 to 20 m³/h and a number of applications for zero discharge production and complete product recycling facilities. Depending on the process concept EVA is operated as a self-contained system or is supplied with external energy. The final product can either be a high concentrate, a salt or a dry substance. In connection with membrane technology high product purities can be achieved. The EVA compact evaporator is heated with steam, carrier oil or hot water, which causes the product in the integrated ring plate heat exchanger to boil under vacuum. The boiling chambers are equipped with cleaning systems, which clean the evaporator also during operation in order to ensure large operating periods even for problematic products. The operating range is from 10 to 500 mbar absolute.
