In the process industry there are many applications where dust occurs. Pressure measuring instruments for such environments require an Atex approval for dust hazardous areas. The IUT universal pressure transmitter and the IPT process pressure transmitter can be used without any problems in these kind of applications. In addition to the gas categories 1/2 G, 2 G and 3 G these transmitters are also certified for use in the dust categories 1/2 D, 2 D and 3 D. The multi-function display can be rotated and configured for clear viewing from either side-on or from above. The high measuring accuracy of up to 0.075 %, the fast measuring rates and available pressure ranges from 3 mbar to 4,000 bar ensure these instruments can be used in the widest possible range of applications.
