Valves for solid containing media

Type FS-M impeller valves from Ebro are capable of slowing down high-speed and fast-flowing media and dosing them into the mixer or weighing unit. Due to their low installation height, impeller valves can generally be installed into the system without major modifications. The Vidos is a standard control valve with the added feature of being able to dose even challenging media. By intentionally inducing vibrations in the valve disc, product flow is facilitated and sustained. This means that the flow can be adjusted via the aperture of the valve. It is also possible to systematically add more medium to be conveyed by briefly opening the valve again slightly. The vibration causes the product to flow and it can be dosed with high precision, depending on the medium involved. It can be installed to replace an existing valve because of the identical installation height. Both devices are approved for use in food contact applications and are Atex certified. They are controlled by conventional means or via bus systems.
