Valve with vibrating disc
The Vidos valve by Ebro is applied as discharge or control valve in nearly all areas of bulks handling. In order to prevent bridging and blocking of material flow, a vibrator mounted on the lower shaft causes a light linear vibration of the valve disc. The vibrations keep the medium in motion and effectively reduce bridging. A mounted positioner enables different coarse/fine positions to be reached, so that medium can still be discharged with even small opening angles. The valve design is a wafer and lug type butterfly valve and is available in nominal diameters from DN 150 to DN 400 (also with stainless steel body up to DN 300). It is suitable for temperatures from -10 to +200 °C, depending on medium, pressure and material. For installation in the food industry corresponding approvals are available.
