The Vibracon Mini LVL-A5 universal filling level limit switch is ideally suited for use in tanks with liquids, in pipelines as pump protection and in cleaning and filter systems with extended temperature range up to 150 °C. The limit switch is used for applications where float switches or conductive, capacitive and optical sensors have previously been utilised. It can also be used if these measuring principles are unsuitable (e.g. due to conductivity, deposits, turbulence, flow currents and air bubbles).
The Vibracon Mini fork is agitated to resonance frequency in the same manner as a tuning fork. The limit switch can be used for both minimum detection (e.g. as a dry-running protection for pumps) and maximum detection (e.g. overflow protection). The minimum or maximum fail-safe configuration is defined in the wiring.
