The externally operated Danfoss valve type AV210 has very high flow amount (Kv-value), can operate from zero differential pressure, can operate at high media temperatures and high viscosities as well as dirty media. Furthermore, the valve can operate in EEx areas by placing the pilot valve outside the area. BSP threads are the standard connection; but welding spigots, tri-clamps or NPT threads and flanges can be used optionally. The closing cone is of the so-called floating (selfaligning) type. It is produced in AISI 316 stainless steel with PTFE sealing material. The moving spindle in the stuffing box is also produced from AISI 316 stainless steel with a high surface smoothness. In combination with the carbon graphite PTFE stern seals in the stuffing box, the wear is reduced, giving an improved lifetime and thereby lower maintenance costs. The programme is available in DN 10 to DN 50 with Kv-values from 4,5 to 67 m³/h in both normally closed (NC) and normally open (NO) versions.
