Electromechanical membrane pumps from Abel are used as process pumps for transporting fluids and powders, for feeding filter presses and centrifuges and for dosing. Suitable powders from silos, big bags, barrels and containers are conveyed efficiently and with self-priming operation. Wear is kept to a minimum due to low speeds in the pipelines and only a few moving parts in the product area. Toxic powders are conveyed in a closed system. Gentle product conveyance, low operating costs due to high efficiency, flexible control from 0 to 100 % and an almost constant transport quantity across the entire pressure range are the most important advantages of the EM pumps.
