With the Ansitex single mechanical seal cartridge, Burgmann presents a seal design with US standard installation dimensions. Its high standardization capability and extensive application spectrum make this unit optimally suited for applications on ANSI pumps. The Ansitex features a simple design and has only eleven different rugged components. Outstanding features are:
- Hydraulically balanced sliding faces ensure cool, low-wear operation
- Shrink-fit sliding surfaces mounted in rugged metal housings with low heat expansion coefficients
- Optimized design and reliable torque transmission (metal in metal) ensure good flushing
- Only two O-rings: this reduces the risk of leakage at the secondary seals. The generously dimensioned dynamic O-ring compensates for angular deviations and remains stable during thermal settling and settling resulting from pressure deformation.
