The Boge group of Bielefeld, Germany, marks the financial year 2003 as its sixth straight record year with a turnover of 78 million Euros (77 million in 2002; 76 million in 2001). The long-established and fourth generation family tun company is now 97 years old and according to Wolf D. Meier-Scheuven, the great-grandson of the founder and managing partner of the company, in excellent order and condition. The export share of the oldest German compressor manufacturer has increased to 50 % of the total turnover. Boge is on the constant lookout for profitable commercial outlets – in Asia, for example. To this end, a Boge owned production facility for screw compressors will be established in Shanghai in the spring of 2004.
