With tailor-made project engineering for their Eagle series operator interfaces, R. Stahl HMI Systems provides complete solutions for direct installation for the operation and monitoring of machines and plants. Eagle devices can be delivered with application-specific configura-tion for tasks of medium complexity. A typical place would be in package units, at centrifuges, mixers or coaters. Thanks to their proprietary operating system, there are no additional licensing costs for these closed systems. With regard to its hardware, the series is also suitable for very rough environments. The systems are designed for integration into control panes and can be installed in gas and dust-ex areas of zones 1/21 and 2/22 without requiring any particular housing. They can withstand ambient temperatures of between -10 and 50 °C. With an optional heater even temperatures down to -30 °C are no longer a problem. Three models with different functionality and special keys are available. The operator interfaces support all major automation systems via Ethernet, Profibus or MPI and, via a serial interface, numerous communication protocols.
