The exhibition duo Powtech/TechnoPharm closes with over 15,000 trade visitors after three successful days. “13 per cent more visitors show that our extra visitor campaigns have really worked,” says a delighted Claus Rättich, member of the Management Board of NürnbergMesse. Some 1,000 exhibitors, including 28 per cent from abroad, presented their products and services for mechanical processing technologies and process technologies in the halls. Over 600 international participants sourced information on the latest particle technology findings at the accompanying Partec Congress. The two exhibitions with complementary themes once again made the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg the international get-together for process technicians, process engineers and production managers from a wide range of industries such as chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food, quarrying and earthworks and ceramics. The unusually large application spectrum of mechanical processing technologies in virtually all branches of industry makes Powtech a special attraction for visitors and exhibitors. Powtech – with 714 exhibitors this year (682 in 2005) – has been the leading exhibition for all manufacturers and operators of powder, granule and bulk solids plants and particle analysis for many years. The TechnoPharm exhibition is the technology forum for manufacturers of clean room plant and hygiene components on the one hand and planners and plant operators in the pharmaceutical, food and cosmetic industries on the other. TechnoPharm attracts more and more exhibitors to Nuremberg: the total of 288 exhibitors at Techno-Pharm 2007 is almost ten per cent up on the last exhibition 18 months ago. The next Powtech/TechnoPharm takes place in Nuremberg from 30 September to 2 October 2008.
