The drying of products in the fine-chemicals or pharmaceutical industry frequently require the application of gentle and effective methods. The stationary mixer dryer with helix mixer is able to combine these properties to produce an excellent cost/benefit ratio. Beyond this, it can also be used as a mixer on its own. The bottom part of the equipment is a conical vessel which takes up the product to be dried. The cover of the vessel is hinged and can be completely folded back in upward direction. A helix mixer is integrated in the cover. This ensures an effective and, at the same time, gentle drying of the product. The vessel can be heated for heat exchange and is of a vacuum tight design. Consequently, it is possible to use all advantages of vacuum drying at low temperatures and with high efficiency.
