The 3-piece-SAE-coupling consists of the body, nut and rein- forcing insert. It connects and seals the pipe that is flared with 37°. The sealing and fixing function between coupling and flared pipe is with a metal-seal only. The construction of the coupling allows the application of pipes with metric as well as imperial measurements from 6 to 42 mm and accordingly 1/8 to 1 1/2”. The fittings are produced of drawn or forged stainless steel 1.4401/1.4571. The pressure ranges from 100 up to 350 bars, whereat you have to calculate a pressure reduction with temperatures higher than 20 °C.
