La Mont Boilers industrial power (ip) tubes have a specially formed surface for optimal heat transfer. They can be adapted to a wide range of requirements owing to the variable structure of the wall. The advantage: the fact that almost twice as much heat is transferred facilitates much shorter tubes with the same pressure loss, i. e. the heating and heat exchange surfaces can be reduced roughly proportionally to the increase in the ip tube’s heat transfer coefficient.
- The development of boundary vortices (tangential and radial mixing) helps eliminate fouling and results in enhanced reaction activity close to the wall. The risk of tube damage due to overheating (boiling crises) during boiler construction is avoided.
- Special strength properties (high bending, buckling and dent strength) can be influenced by means of the tube dimensions and the choice of surface.
- Anti-vibration design with good acoustic insulation
